We
are pleased to announce a new digital Power Point format
for the Smile Gallery this year. The Smile Gallery Contest
will be hosted at all 3 seminars and on Members Night. The
contest is open to all TACD members, including the TACD
executive board.
The prizes at
the end of the year will be awarded on a point system. Three
prizes will be awarded: 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The clinician
with the most points at the end of the year will be awarded
first prize (past prizes have included digital cameras and
a stereo system). In order to encourage members to vote,
a door prize will be awarded to one voting member per meeting.
Each clinician
will be allowed to present a maximum of 3 different cases
per lecture. These will be presented using digital Power
Point by projector. The attending dentists and exhibitors
will vote for all of the cases. The case with the most votes
will win the points for the session.
Points will
be awarded in the following manner.

A Smile Gallery
should consist of 4 color photographs, 2 each from 2 of
the 3 following categories:
•
Full face, before and after vertical or horizontal 1:10
magnification
• Smile view (unretracted), before and after 1:2 magnification
• Anterior Retracted, before and after 1:2 magnification.
The
Clinician’s name must not appear on the front of the
presentation.
A different
case must be presented each time.

are interested in entering at any of the seminars please
e-mail Dr. Carol Waldman with your photo entries by 7pm
today (Wednesday) at cwaldman@rogers.com.
Entries received after that time will be entered into the
next Smile Gallery Contest.
