Effective April 5, 2021, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will begin collecting a New York/New Jersey Port Authority Surcharge at the following greater New York commercial airports: John F. Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA) & Newark International (EWR).

All for-hire vehicles, including chauffeured transportation, taxis and ride share services will be charged a $2.50 NY/NJ Port Authority Surcharge for each inbound and outbound trip at these airports.

As a result, beginning April 5, Carey International will begin charging an additional $2.50 for all trips with itineraries that include pick-up or drop-offs JFK, LGA or EWR.

Currently, this access toll does not apply to Fixed Base Operations (FBO) and private airfields.
