Can I still buy tickets to the Year-End Recitals?
Absolutely! There are still seats available for the Year-End Recitals. Tickets can be purchased through Ticket Master (service charges apply) 416-870-8000 or www.ticketmaster.ca or in person at the Theatre Box Office (no service charges apply).
Will it be possible to purchase tickets on the day of the Year-End Recital?
YES!! The Box Office located at the front of the theatre will be open 1 hour prior to the start of every Year-End Recital.
How long is each Year-End Recital?
Each performance will be approximately 2 hours in length with no intermission.
Where is the theatre located and is there parking available?
The ViBE Year-End Recitals will take place in the George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts located at 5040 Yonge Street in North York. Click here for directions.
Should my child be dressed and ready when they arrive at the theatre?
YES!! Before leaving home, dancers should be dressed and ready to dance in their costumes wearing running shoes--no flip flops please! We recommend female dancers wear some make-up (eye shadow, mascara, blush, lipstick, etc) to look their best on stage.
We recommend that you LABEL all dance shoes, costumes and clothing so that items can be returned if they get lost. We remind you that ViBE and the Toronto Centre for the Arts are not responsible for any lost or stolen items; therefore leave all valuables at home. When should my child arrive?
We ask that all dancers arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the recital.
Where do I drop off my child to enter as a performer for the show?
All dancers must enter through the SIGN-IN DOOR located on North York Blvd situated at the north side of the building. DO NOT ENTER AT THE STAGE DOOR. Instead, look out for the ViBE signs to help direct you to the SIGN-IN DOOR.
What happens to my child after they are signed in?
Once dancers sign in with ViBE Dance Teachers and Assistants, dancers will be escorted to a designated backstage area to meet their
fellow dancers. We assure you that dancers will be well-supervised and having fun backstage while the show unfolds on stage.
What happens to ME (parents) once I sign in my child?
After signing in your child, parents can walk around the area and gain entry into the theatre 30 minutes before the start of the recital.
Do I need to send my child with snacks?
YES!! Parents must send their child with a PEANUT-FREE and NUT-FREE snack and water bottle to replenish themselves during the show.
Should I send my child with a toy or game for the backstage area?
Please DO NOT send anything valuable with your child such as clothing, shoes, toys, games, jewelry, cell phones, ipods, or cherished possessions. ViBE and the Toronto Centre for the Arts are not responsible for lost or stolen items; therefore leave all valuables at home.
Are parents allowed backstage?
Parents are NOT allowed backstage. Instead parents will sit in their seats for the entire duration of the show and will be reunited with their children after the Finale in the front foyer of the theatre.
My child is in more than one dance, how do I know which dance is first?
All dancers in 2 or more dances will be in the Quick Change area and they have been notified by phone about the order of their dances. If you need a reminder, please email us at info@vibestudio.ca.
What is the FINALE?
At ViBE, ALL dancers performing in the Year-End Recitals will once again grace the stage at the end of the show for the FINALE!
This is an exciting performance where we highlight the different age groups of performers dancing together. Audience members are strongly encouraged to stay in their seats for the entire FINALE!
How do I pick up my child at the end of the show?
After the FINALE, dancers will be escorted to the front foyer of the theatre under specific AGE GROUP SIGNS. When parents exit the theatre, we ask that ONE PARENT pick up their child from their age group in order to minimize confusion. This is always a VERY busy and exciting time, so we thank you ahead of time for your support and patience.
How do I purchase a Recital DVD?
To purchase a Recital DVD, please complete an Order Form from the front desk or download an Order Form from our website. Order forms will not be available at the recitals.
Will flowers be available for purchase at the recitals?
YES! Before and after every show, there will be a variety of beautiful flowers available for purchase in the front foyer of the theatre.
How can I register my child for the 2010-2011 dance season?
There are 3 ways to register:

3.) In person during studio hours of operation
Can I still submit photo orders?
YES! Feel free to continue to bring in your Photo Order Form Envelopes. When ready, we will contact you to pick up the photos.

YES!! Pick up a copy from the front desk or visit www.vibestudio.ca for the Teen & Adult June Drop-In Class Schedule.
